Problem:

The Kohler Diagnostic System Software is installed, but I don't know what Serial Number was used to install it.

Solution:

The Software Serial Number was included in the original Kohler Diagnostic System Kit you received. This is the kit that came with a CD, Manual and the Vehicle Interface Cable in one box. Depending on when you received this kit, the Serial Number was either on a "Serial Number Card" or on a label attached to the CD Sleeve.

If you do not currently have Kohler Diagnostic System installed on your PC, refer to the article "How do I Get a Serial Number?" for more information.

If you currently have Kohler Diagnostic System Version 2.06 or higher installed, the Serial Number is displayed on the System Configuration Screen, (click the "wrench" button).

If you currently have Kohler Diagnostic System Version 2.05 or lower installed, you can run the serial number finder utility on the Kohler Diagnostic System CD.
To run the utility select Run on the Start Menu, then type:

This will bring up a window that looks like this:

Click on the "Find my Serial Numbers!" button, and it will display any serial number(s) you are using with the Kohler Diagnostic System software. Keep your serial number(s) in a SAFE PLACE. You will need your serial number(s) each time you install the software.
